Riyadh, Cemtech: MEA 2026
Xoptix and NanoSpek were pleased to exhibit together at the MINING TURKEY Fair held on 10–11 April in Istanbul, presenting advanced technologies for real-time particle size measurement and process optimisation for the mining industry. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how inline PSD monitoring can support more efficient, stable, and energy-optimised mineral processing operations.
Throughout the event, industry professionals came to discuss their applications, operational challenges, and future process improvement projects. Conversations focused on grinding optimisation, process automation, energy efficiency, and the growing importance of real-time process data within modern mining operations.
The exhibition at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Center created a valuable platform for strengthening existing relationships and building new collaborations within the mining sector. Dirk Schmidt, Business Development and Key Account Manager at Xoptix Ltd, was pleased to participate in Cemtech Conferences & Exhibitions MEA 2026 in Riyadh, where the event brought together key leaders and decision-makers from the cement and mining industries across the region.
During the official opening ceremony, distinguished guests included H.E. Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, Turki Abdulrahman Alabtain, Deputy Minister for Mining Development, and Dr. Badr O. Johar, CEO of Arabian Cement Company and President of the Committee for Cement Companies (NCCC). The exhibition provided an excellent platform for discussions around process optimisation, automation, sustainability, and digital transformation within the cement industry.
Together with partners and industry specialists, Xoptix was proud to present advanced solutions for real-time particle size monitoring and grinding optimisation, supporting more efficient and stable cement production. It was also a pleasure for Mr Dirk Schmidt to meet industry professionals and discuss real-world grinding optimisation challenges with representatives from EPCC, Al Safwa Cement, Yanbu Cement, and other major cement producers from across the region.
28th AUCBM participation
It was a pleasure for Xoptix Ltd and KIMA Process Control GmbH to participate together in the 28th Arab International Cement & Building Materials Conference & Exhibition (AICCE28), held from 11–13 November 2025 in Dubai.
We were proud to showcase our latest in-process particle size monitoring technology and demonstrate the operational value it can bring to cement producers through improved efficiency, optimisation, and process control.
The exhibition brought together more than 3,900 professionals from the cement, building materials, infrastructure, and engineering sectors, creating an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the future of digitalisation and automation within the cement industry.
