Xoptix Ltd have signed a strategic OEM agreement with Hosokawa Micron Ltd and Hosokawa Alpine, to sell their XO in-process particle sizer, and further enhance their global presence in real-time monitoring of process efficiency.
Malvern based Xoptix Ltd, have signed an OEM agreement with Hosokawa Micron Ltd and Hosokawa Alpine, to sell their particle sizer through a tried and tested relationship, which spans over five years and 100 units. The XO particle sizer, which Hosokawa have named the Optisizer, clearly describes the reliability and flexibility of the innovative in-process particle sizer.
The Xoptix XO particle sizer is used in applications such as cement, pharmaceutical, calcium carbonate and toner, where continued monitoring of particle size is critical. The unique inline quality control monitoring offers these industries genuine cost savings which are realised quickly, due to increased process efficiency.
Stuart Barton, Sales Director at Xoptix is delighted with the partnership saying “We’ve worked with Hosokawa for many years, as the powder and bulk process industry is a key focus for our inline particle sizer. Hosokawa Micron Ltd, whose Headquarters are in Runcorn, England, and Hosokawa Alpine who are based in Augsburg, Germany, specialise in mixing, drying, agglomeration and allied Powder Processing Systems.
